Scope and Contents
This collection includes two volumes of handwritten notes recording the personal library collections of Austin Flint Denny in Indianapolis, Indiana, ranging from 1841 to August 21, 1899. There are 1,075 books listed in “numerical order” and his collection would grow to at least 1,200 before his passing. The titles and authors of the books are listed as well as where and when Denny purchased or received the books.
