The two letters in this collection were written by M. Eileen Ahern, the Assistant State Librarian, to Arthur Cunningham in Terre Haute. In the December 2, 1891, letter, she tells Mr. Cunningham about attending the American Library Association meeting in California, and her hopes that Indiana libraries will organize so they can exchange books between libraries.
