Scope and Contents This collection contains a March 11, 1882 letter written by Allie Kinkaid from Colfax, Indiana and sent to her family at home near Thorntown, Indiana. In the letter Miss Kinkaid mentions saloons and the comings and goings at the train depot. She also discusses attending Sunday school and the home where she is boarding.
