The folder and bound volume contain the same letters written by George B. Dausman from July 26, 1862 until February 18, 1863. After his last letter, there are three additional letters written in March 1863. On March 5, Jo. W. Snider wrote to his sister to tell her that her son George was sick at Murfreesborough, Tennessee.
