Scope and Contents From the Collection: This collection includes correspondence, telegrams, receipts, family photographs and newspaper clippings from Walter N. and Lizzie D. Carpenter in Indianapolis and Muncie, Indiana as well as Miami, Dade County, Florida ranging from 1887 to the 1980s.

Also included are U.S. Department of Health publications regarding the control of infectious diseases and the role of women during World War I.
