Scope and Contents This collection includes an account book kept by members of the Schofield family of Marion County, Indiana containing entries dating from 1836 to 1868. The accounts kept in the book indicate the operation of a general store dealing primarily in groceries, dry goods, clothing, and occasional sales of hardware.
