This collection includes flyers, pamphlets, business cards, a receipt, periodicals, newsletters, and other ephemera collected by Georgia Cravey in Indiana ranging from 1935 to 2009 regarding house, furnishing, interior design, and landscaping; dentists; socialism; gardens; the National Organization of Women; and miscellaneous topics. There is a minute book from the Past Noble Grand Association (most likely related to the Daughters of Rebekah) ranging from 1935 to 1944.

Biographical Note
Georgia Ann Cravey was born February 1, 1950 to Gerald Tyson (1919-2005) and Margaret Eileen (McCarter) Cravey (1920-2009) in Olney, Illinois. She attended North Central High School in Indianapolis, Indiana, graduating in 1968, and Indiana University in Bloomington. Cravey married James Edwin Lingenfeller on January 19, 1984 in Indianapolis.

Gerald Tyson Cravey was born to Johnie Jackson (1886-1963) and Leona Foster (LeSueur) Cravey (1889-1966) on October 10, 1919 in Tift County, Georgia. In 1938, he enlisted in the U.S. Army Coast Artillery Corps and was posted to Ft. Randolph, Panama. On the eve of World War II, he re-enlisted in the U.S. Air Corps and served as chief radio operator for Headquarters, 20th Bomber Command at Hijli, India. When the 20th moved to the Pacific Islands, he served as radio station chief for the Air Transport Command at Myitkyina, Burma. Cravey spent months copying transmissions from Nampo Domei, a radio press station in Tokyo that served as Japan's propaganda outlet. He was honorably discharged on November 2, 1945 and used his G.I. Bill to study mechanical engineering at the University of Illinois. Cravey worked for a time as the physical plant supervisor at Eastern Illinois University and later moved to Indianapolis, Indiana and worked as an engineer for the Indiana State Board of Health. He married Margaret Eileen McCarter (1920-2009) on June 12, 1945 and they had two daughters, Georgia Ann and Altha Jane. Cravey died on November 17, 2005 in Zionsville, Indiana and was buried in Inaha Cemetery in Turner County, Georgia.
