Administrative History

The Alliance of Crown Hill Neighbors was formed in 2006 in response to the Crown Hill Cemetery Board deciding to sell 76 acres of forested land in 2005. A portion of this land included old growth forest and wetlands. Developers were invited to make bids on the property. A petition was filed proposing the rezoning of this land to allow for the development of housing and retail properties. The Alliance of Crown Hill Neighbors opposed this petition. The petition was eventually denied.
