This collection includes Wilma Usrey's records regarding District 7 and District 5 of the Indiana Federation of Business and Professional Women's Clubs. Ranging from 1983 to 2003, the collection includes meeting minutes, budgets, bylaws, membership reports, spring meeting programs, essay contest entries, and young careerist applicant photographs and entry forms. The record notebooks were left as Mrs. Usrey had organized them. The collection also has a full size, handmade District 7 flag.

Biographical / Historical
Wilma Jean Ritchey was born October 14, 1931 in Burns City, Indiana to Obadiah and Lewie Ritchey. She graduated from Odon High School in 1949 and attended Indiana State University. She married Jospeh Usrey on August 23, 1952 and they lived in Roswell, New Mexico for several years before returning to Indiana and settling in Joseph's hometown of Sullivan. She began working at the Sullivan State Bank in 1959 and worked in the banking industry for more than 36 years. She was an active member of the Indiana Federation of Business and Professional Women's Club, serving as president of the Sullivan BPW and as secretary, assistant director and director of District 7. In 2003, District 5 was created by the merging District 7 and District 4 and Mrs. Usrey also served a term as district director for the newly created district. She passed away at the age of 83 on June 17, 2015.
