This collection includes photographs and positive film strips, most likely taken by Randy Starks and Dave Fulton, in Rome City, Indiana ranging in 1989, depicting actress Joanna Cassidy at the filming of the documentary, A Walk in the Woods with Gene Stratton-Porter, at Porter's Cabin at Wildflower Woods. There are also 4 photographs at a reception in the Indiana Authors' Room at the Indiana State Library where Cassidy received a Sagamore of the Wabash.

Historical Note
A Walk in the Woods with Gene Stratton-Porter was a 15-minute documentary filmed entirely in Indiana. It featured acress Joanna Cassidy discussing the life and work of Gene Stratton-Porter, renowned Indiana author, photographer, and conservationist. Limberlost Cabin in Geneva and the Cabin at Wildflower Woods in Rome City were the primary filming locations.
The project was a collaborative effort between Ann Elridge from Sasha Schneider Productions; Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis; the Indiana Department of Education; the Indiana Historical Bureau; the Indiana State Library; and the Indiana State Museum. Cassidy and Eldridge arrived in Indiana on October 9, 1989 and spent a week in meetings, receptions, speaking engagements, filming, and other community activities across the state. Cassidy also received a Sagamore of the Wabash. Sources:
