Historical Note
The South Side State Bank was organized, in part, by John Lauck, Sr. In 1912 Lauck became the president of the bank, a position he maintained until 1928 when the South Side State Bank merged with the Fletcher Trust Company. William Hart acted as vice president during at least part of this time period, and L. A. Wiles worked as the cashier.
