This collection contains one banner created by the Indianapolis Museum of Art in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1990. One side of the banner says "Indianapolis Museum of Art" and the other side shows a chain of paper dolls that can be cut out with information about the Museum's grand reopening on October 13, 1990.

Biographical / Historical

The Indianapolis Museum of Art was founded in 1883 by the Art Association of Indianapolis. It's first permanent location was opened in 1906, in 1970 the museum went to its location at Michigan Road and 38th Street. In 1990 new, increased exhibit space was opened.
