This collection includes war ration books, genealogies, correspondence, guest and funeral books, greeting cards, photographs from the Rock, Beck and Sherrer families in Indiana, Missouri and elsewhere ranging from 1908 to 1962, regarding family genealogy, finances and business, correspondence with friends, World War II life, the Philippines, and Stephens College.

Biographical Note
Rosalie Davis was born to William N. and Jessie B. Davis on January 21, 1878 in Greenfield, Indiana. She married Edgar Allan Poe Rock on May 3, 1899 in Hancock County, Indiana and they had four children. She died November 27, 1946 and was buried in Park Cemetery, Greenfield. Her husband Edgar died March 31, 1962.
Robert D. Rock was born in approximately 1900 in Greenfield, Indiana. He and his wife, Nettie, were the parents of Richard, Robert, Sharon and Marilyn Virginia Rock. Rock was a biochemist with Eli Lilly and Company for 41 years. He died in 1966.
Marilyn Virginia Rock was born in 1928 in Indiana. She attended Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri, graduating in 1948. Rock married Richard Sherrer on June 6, 1950 in Marion County, Indiana and they had two daughters, Susan and Connie, and two sons, Michael and Steven S.
Connie Sherrer was born January 19, 1956. She married Thomas Lowell Beck on May 8, 1976 in Indianapolis, Indiana and they had one child, Amanda.
