Historical Note

The Indiana Lincoln Foundation was part of the Indiana Lincoln Sesquicentennial Commission. Their goals were to perpetuate the code by which Abraham Lincoln lived for the youth in Indiana and to establish a national shrine to Lincoln in Indiana.
