Scope and Contents

This account book for Angel's establishment reflects the business of a general store which dealt more in groceries than it did in non-grocery items. The 309 numbered pages give the date of entries at the top of each page and, within short entries, the name of the customer, the items purchased, prices of items, and sometimes a total amount.
