Biographical / Historical

Montgomery County, Indiana was established in 1822 and named for American Revolutionary War General Richard Montgomery. Clark Township is one of eleven townships in the county and was laid out in October 1830. The town of Ladoga is located in Clark Township and was platted in 1836 by John Myers.
