Historical Note
Charles Stewart Judd (1844-1892) was a landscape photographer who worked at 45 East Washington Street with partner William Henry Salter (1839-1882) from 1873 to early 1875. Salter and Judd were known for their stereviews. By May 1875, the partnership ended and Judd moved to Tennessee where he worked by himself as a landscape photographer.
