Biographical Note

Daniel Orville Carlock was born to Willis Willard and Luwattie (Lawrence) Carlock on August 2, 1891 or July, 1892. The family lived in Paris Crossing, Jennings County, Indiana where they had a farm. They moved to Indianapolis, Indiana for a time, before returning to Paris Crossing. Daniel Carlock died in 1912 according to multiple sources, although his death certificate places his death on August 2, 1910 in Paris Crossing. Cause of death was chronic interstitial nephritis. His father, Willis Carlock, born April 1, 1860, died on December 5, 1929 at his home in Paris Crossing. His mother, Luwattie (Lawrence) Carlock, born March 11, 1866, died on September 18, 1932.
