Administrative Note

Ben Davis High School, a 3-year high school in Indianapolis, Indiana was first established in 1892 and named after Benjamin Davis, general superintendent of the Vandalla Railroad. The school was rebuilt several times during the 20th century as overcrowding became a chronic problem in school systems across the United States. Located at 1200 North Girsl School Road, the current building, constructed in 1965, received extensive renovation during 1998-2002 as well as an addition a few years later.
