Indianapolis Star-News, currently called the Indianapolis Star, is the only major daily newspaper in Indianapolis, Indiana and has been since 1999 when the Indianapolis News ceased publication. The paper was first published on June 6, 1903. As of 2019, it is owned by the Gannett Company.
