This collection includes photographs of Donald Richwine and his niece Dorothy (Richwine) Martin of Indianapolis, Indiana ranging from circa 1940 to 1950 regarding the Indianapolis plant of the Bridgeport Brass Company where Donald worked and Dorothy Ann Martin in group photographs at Girl Scout camp at McCormick's Creek State Park.

Biographical / Historical
Twins Donald J. and Dorothy L. Richwine were born to Rolla and Ruth Richwine on April 22, 1904. They lived in Indianapolis, Indiana and had several other siblings including Elizabeth, Barbara, Rolla, Albert, Harry, and Howard.
Donald married Laura “Lollie” Mae Braun on October 4, 1926 and worked as a salesman of “grocery products” in the 1930s before going to work as an accountant for the Indianapolis plant of the Bridgeport Brass Co. He died in Alhambra, Los Angeles County, California on January 12, 1983 and was buried in Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis.
Dorothy married Howard Theodore Martin, who worked as foreman of a wheel works and later as a draftsman, on February 19, 1927 and they had two children, James H. and Dorothy Ann. They lived in Boone County, Indiana. She died a little over 2 months after her twin brother, on March 29, 1983 in Los Angeles, California and was buried in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Lebanon, Indiana.
Dorothy Ann Martin was bortn July 19, 1931 in Lebanon, Boone County, Indiana. She attended Lebanon High School in Lebanon, Indiana and Butler University in Indianapolis. She died in Mesa, Arizona on June 5, 2000.
