Administrative Note

Frank O. Wilking established the Wlking Music Company in Indianapolis, Indiana. The company had several different divisions. They had a showroom from which they sold pianos and organs. They had a manufacturing division that took care of all repairs, tuning, refinishing as well as other necessary manufacturing tasks for the company. Wilking Music Company also had studios in which customers could practice and take lessons as well. In the early 1960s, Wilking Music Company was brought out by Steinway and Sons.
