This collection contains a scrapbook with mementos saved by Virgene Rock from her freshman year at Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri. Ranging from 1946 to 1947. The items in the scrapbook include programs for plays and musical performances, dance cards, sorority memorabilia, and correspondence.

Biographical Note

Marilyn Virgene Rock was born on March 12, 1928 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Robert and Marie "Nettie" Rock. She graduated from Shortridge High School in 1946 and was a 1948 graduate of Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri. She married Ronald Scherrer on June 6, 1950 and they had four children: Steve, Mike, Connie, and Susie.
