Historical Note
After tornadoes struck in the Kentuckiana area on Wednesday, April 3, 1974, research was funded to develop a documentary and teaching aid of the events. Lieutenant Governor Robert D. Orr completed a contract for financial assistance to the city of Monticello, Indiana in regard to the planning of necessary reconstruction.
