Administrative History

The purpose of the Indiana Federation of Public School Teachers was to provide individual security through group action. The organization sought better teaching conditions for classroom teachers, as well as serving as a clearing house of information on teacher welfare problems. They organized in 1916 and had a yearly dues of ten cents.
