This collection contains various materials collected by Frances Fox Miller throughout her career. Included is a pamphlet entitled "A Flag is Born" about Muncie, Indiana's flag, a xerox copy of a letter from Robert Branigin appointing Miller to a post with Indian Education, issues of "The Shoe Box Times", and the poem "Life flowing incessantly" by Miller.

Biographical Note

Dr. Frances Fox Miller was an English professor at Ball State University and was appointed to a post in the Office of Indian Education by Roger Branigin in 1966. She wrote a poem called "Life flowing incessantly" included in the collection and worked closely with Chief Mon-gon-zah in Muncie, Indiana.
