Biographical Note

Henry Aughinbaugh [Aughenbaugh] was born in 1764. He married Eva Hautzen and resided in Hopewell, Newton, Tyborn and Westpensboro in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania up to 1790. In 1810, he lived in Mifflin, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania with eleven people in the household. Aughinbaugh lived at Shippensburg, Pennsylvania in 1840. His daughter Mary Ann married George Koons on February 20, 1834 in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Aughinbaugh died in 1844 in Shippensburg.
