Biographical Note

Rev. Dr. George A. Frantz was born in 1888 in Kittanning, Pennsylvania. He was a minister at the First Presbyterian Church in Indiana from 1926 to 1953. He was also a member of the Indianapolis Literary Club. After retiring, Frantz "was a guest professor, lecturer, and pastor at many institutions around the country. These speaking tours continued until 1977, when Frantz determined that his health was too poor to continue. Frantz died on November 30, 1980" (Goodling, 2012,3).
