Biographical Note

Rodney Jeger was born on March 21, 1844 in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania. His parents moved to Hendricks County, Indiana during during 1844. He enlisted on August 15, 1862 to the Company G, 99th Indiana Regiment and mustered out as a corporal on June 5, 1865. Jeger married Evaline Leak on April 27, 1867 in Hendricks County.He died on June 20, 1915 and was buried at Craig Cemetery in Nebraska.
