Biographical Note

Charles G. Armstrong was born around 1831 in Ohio, to Thomas A. (born in Pennsylvania) and Sarah E. (born in Virginia) Armstrong. He was one of at least three children. He lived in Kokomo, Indiana where he worked as a hardware dealer. He had a son, Buel, born in 1864. Armstrong died July 7, 1901 and is buried in the Crown Hill Cemetery, in Kokomo.
