Administrative History
Day, Tyler and Company was a bookbindery located in Indianapolis, Indiana. The company was founded in 1842 when Spofford E. Tyler formed a partnership with William Day. They were known for manufacturing blank books, as well as traditional bookbinding. The binery was located on West Washington Street. Day and Tyler sold the establishment to William Sheets and Co. in 1845.
