Historical Note
The Central Correspondence College was established in 1899, absorbing the Western Preparatory School in 1904. It had only one course of study, specifically that of preparing its students within a matter of weeks to take the Clerk-Carrier and Railway Mail Service examinations, qualifying them to enter the Post Office Service or Railway Mail Service.
