Biographical / Historical

William L. Lindsey enlisted in Company B, Indiana 5th Cavalry Regiment on 22 Aug 1862 in Connersville, Indiana. He was promoted to Full Captain on 14 Jan 1865 and mustered out on 07 Mar 1865. Later he was commissioned an officer in Company H, Indiana 6th Cavalry Regiment on 07 Mar 1865 and was mustered out on 15 Sep 1865 at Murfreesboro, TN.
