Historical Note

On September 7, 1833, Henry Hopkins, then living in Manchester, Indiana, signed a promissory note for $35.00, to be paid to Page Duford, or the note's bearer, on January 1, 1834 at Hopkins' home.

Hopkins married Maria Stone on June 14, 1831 in Dearborn County, Indiana.
