Biographical / Historical

The Indiana World War I Centennial Committee was created in November, 2016 to honor the centennial of the Great War including the 4 million Americans who served, including 135,000 men and women from Indiana.

From November, 2016 to November, 2018 the committee facilitated and promoted events and education throughout the state and served as a resource for local communities who sought to commemmorate the World War I centennial through events, education, monuments, and memorials.
