This collection includes a small travel diary kept by Iris Baughman during her trip from her home in Rensselaer, Indiana to the St. Louis World's Fair in August 1904 when she was about 9 years old.

Biographical / Historical

Iris M. Baughman was born September 18, 1895 in Monon, Indiana to Ulysses M. and Jennie Baughman. Her family lived for a time in Rensselaer, Indiana before moving to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1917 and was a high school teacher. She died in July 1969.
