Scope and Contents

This collection includes a photocopy of a diary created by Joseph Conway ranging from December 1917 to November 1919 from his enlistment in the Navy, time in France, and discharge. In addition to regular entries, the diary served as an address book and includes cash payments and expenses. There is also a copy of a letter from the brother and sister-in-law of a friend in the Navy who had recently passed away, dated December 1965.
