Scope and Contents

This collection contains an assortment of printed flyers, advertisements, trade cards, and copies of genealogical material ranging from 1899 to 1922 regarding farming, agriculture, and family life. The family history material consist of a biography of Chalkley Emerson Hunt (1842-1918) and autobiographical reminscences of an unnamed person. Among the printed items are publications from Hoosier Mineral Feed, Indiana Mutual Cylone Insurance Co., E. Rauh and Sons Animal Feed Co., and Swine Breeders Pure Serum Co. On February 28, 1921, the Gale Manufacturing Co. of Albion, Michigan, sent a post card to Mr. F. A. Mitchel, Mooresville, Indiana, informing him that the company had discontinued making farm implements.
