Biographical Note

Joseph S. Taylor was a sargeant in Company E, 8th Regiment during World War I. He enlisted in the Army on December 24, 1917 and left Salem, Indiana for Jacksonville, Florida on December 26, 1917, arrving at Camp Joseph E. Johnston on December 28.
