Biographical Note

Samuel Francis Strouse was born August 2, 1888 at Terre Haute, Indiana to James Henry and Clara May (Moore) Strouse. The family moved to Logansport, Indiana and Strouse attended local schools. He was working for the El Paso and Southern Railway when he died of typhoid fever in El Paso, Texas on January 8, 1912.
