Historical Note
From 1896 to 1901, the Frankfort Circuit of the Methodist Protestant Church in Indiana included Farmer's Chapel and Hopewell of Clinton County and Mt. Zion and Union of Boone County. Cloverleaf joining the circuit in November 1900. During the Indiana annual conference held in August 1901, Frankfort Circuit was divided and only the three Clinton County churches, Farmer's Chapel, Hopewell and Cloverleaf, remained in the circuit.
