This collection includes a ribbon and badge of a representative at the 20th annual convocation of the State Haymakers' Association of Indiana held in Indianapolis on May 15, 1912 and a copy of the bylaws of the Indiana Federation of Democratic Women that were revised in 1985.

Historical Note

The first Indiana Democratic Women's Conference was held November 3-4, 1961 in Indianapolis by the newly formed Indiana Federation of Democratic Women. The convention was held in conjuction with the National Democratic Women's Day. During the conference, the Indiana federation's first bylaws were adopted and approved. The federation is still an active organization and strives to offer support and assistance to Democratic leadership and also focus on recruiting, training and electing Democratic women.
