 Collection — Folder: S2275

Scope and Contents

This collection includes a photocopy of "My Most Thrilling Experience," a handwritten account of Jimmie Doolittle's biplane performance at the dedication of the Indianapolis Municipal Airport. Donated by Ina E. Kestner, the personal account has a few notations added to the margins and was likely a school assignment written by her son, Elmer. Please note that the document mentions that the event was "Last October 30," but the airport dedication took place September 26-27, 1931.
