Scope and Contents

This collection is one small, lined notebook with 48 pages. Mr. Johnson gives measurements for furniture as well as ingredients for stains and varnishes. On pages 38 and 39, he made drawings of what appear to be bunk beds and window seats under decorative window frames. On pages 20 and 21, he wrote a poem entitled "Lilly Dale." Pages 31 to 33 list 19 "General Explanations" for the work done. On page 35 is his poem "Departed Friends," followed on page 36 by his poem "Marian." Two short poems are written on page 46.
