Collection — Folder: S2184
Identifier: S2184
Scope and Contents
This collection includes a July 7, 1849 letter written by Sarah Pickrell at Wolf Creek in Sangamon County, Illinois to her niece who was later referred to in the letter as "Jane." Mrs. Pickrell mentions that she expected to send the letter with an Oliver Hall who was traveling to Greencastle, Indiana and her niece might see him, so it can be inferred that the niece lived in Indiana. The collection also includes photocopies of the letter with handwritten notations of names mentioned and copies of the memorial entries of Abel and Sarah Pickrell from the website FindaGrave.com that were printed on March 25, 2015.
