Historical Note
Christmas cards in this collection include those with connections to Indiana University and Brown County. Including ones from Mr. and Mrs. F.J. Menger author of "German Vocabulary," Agnes Duncan Kuersteiner wife to an Indiana University professor, and Ada and Adolph Shulz whose paintings are part of the IU Digital Library. Also in the collection are accounts regarding both General Washington and General Jackson's Christmas' pieced together from various authors by Nora and Laurance Chambers as a Christmas greeting.
