Biographical Note

Reverend Joseph G. Butler wrote numerous sermons ranging from 1917-1959 about giving and helping others to teaching about the ways of the church. He was born in 1888 in Ontario, Canada, but moved to Indiana in 1910 where he lived until his death. He was a minister at the Baptist Christian Church in Royal Center, Indiana. He married Gladys Butler in 1916 and had 2 sons: Harry and John. He died in 1965 in Marion, Indiana due to congestive heart failure.
