Scope and Contents

This collection is an assortment of items, dated from 1883-1926, possibly used for a speech on oral and family history. The items relate to the Cox and Clark families. Included is a French post card; Professor Paul Sebring of Vincennes University song recital program; two tickets for the 1924 Indiana Democratic State Convention at Tomlinson Hall, Indianapolis, Indiana; a Paramount Artists Service business card; Jeffersonville, Indiana, First Christian Church bulletin; Vincennes University summer term brochure; an L. Strauss and Company, Indianapolis, Indiana, advertising card; and a "3 Wise Fools" comedy play handout presented by Community Chautauqua. Also included is insignia from the Woman's Relief Corps., Grand Army of the Republic, Indiana State Fair, Knights of Pythias, Junior Town, and the Star Glee Club. A coin promotes "Taggarts Bread." One small flag is present as well.
