Biographical Note

Hezlep Williamson Clark was born on July 22, 1882 in Port Austin, Michigan to William F. and Frances G. Clark. He played football for the Indiana Hoosiers in 1904-1906. He married Eva M. Lowell on April 12, 1911 in Kitsap, Washington, with whom he had at least one child. He worked as a reporter in 1918 and 1920 and a police reporter in 1940 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He died in 1956 and is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana.
