Biographical Note

Willard Stout is listed as Willard J. Stout in the 1936 Indianapolis city directory when he lived at 1412 N. Alabama Street, as J. Willard Stout in the 1928 city directory when he lived at 1228 N. Alabama St. and in the 1938, and 1942 city directories and as Willard in the 1949 directory, when he lived at 1455 N. New Jersey St. He was married to Mae [May] A. Stout and worked as an inspector, a draftsman for the City Civil Engineer, a clerk for the City Assessment Bureau, and as a clerk for the Census Bureau.
